Jana Sweet


Sweet leads the North America Finance organization for GfK, a global research and analytics firm based in Nuremberg, Germany.  She is responsible for leading the overall development of the strategic business plan for the region and overseeing $350 million in sales.  The finance organization includes accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, procurement, facilities and operational business finance.

Prior to this role, Sweet held various Finance positions in GfK North America and CRI, a research firm that was acquired by GfK in 1999.  Sweet’s extensive experience includes strategic planning, business planning and financial analysis, risk management and compliance, and M&A. Over the past 20 years with GfK, she has played a vital role in helping the business navigate through the turbulent changes within the Industry.

Sweet holds a BA from the University of Oklahoma and is a CPA.  She lives in Plymouth, MN with her husband and two sons, who both love to play football, baseball and ice hockey.
