Julio Estevez-Breton is vice president of member and market insights at USAA. He leads a team responsible for understanding the connections between their members, the market and the competition, to better serve their members, respond to their changing needs and address opportunities to improve the member experience. Prior to this position he was vice president of contact center experience where he was responsible for leading the transformation of our contact centers from product centric to member centric to achieve higher levels of effectiveness and efficiency. He joined USAA in 2010 as vice president of market strategy.
Julio joined USAA from Nationwide Insurance where he was associate vice president in the Marketing Strategy Group. There he was responsible for retention strategy thought leadership and problem-solving. Prior to Nationwide Insurance he was with Capital One Financial Corporation where he implemented a retail banking expansion strategy for Hibernia Bank in Texas. Earlier in his career he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company where he led numerous banking projects including US money center banks, US regional Banks, a Canadian retail bank and a Canada / US online bank.
Julio holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) anda Masters in Business Administration from The University of Western Ontario (Canada).
