Laurie Krause is the Vice President of Market and Consumer Insights for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role she is responsible for business and market intelligence, marketing and consumer research, customer experience insights and advanced analytics, enabling fact-based organizational decision-making and strategy development.
Prior to joining Best Buy in July of 2012, Mrs. Krause served as the Director of Consumer Research and Competitive Intelligence at Ally Financial (formerly GMAC). While there, she helped transform a 90 year-old captive auto finance firm into a customer-centric online banking brand, innovating with consumers to create a new brand vision and bring flagship banking products under the new Ally brand umbrella.
Before that, she was a customer strategy consultant to the institutional investment division of Residential Capital, a subsidiary of GMAC.
Mrs. Krause holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in Business, Marketing and Environmental Studies.
